Overview

The Fuelling Growth Foundation, in joint collaboration with the expert medical team from Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute, successfully organized a comprehensive Free Cancer Screening Camp at Balanagar. The camp offered completely free-of-cost diagnostic screenings, specifically targeting breast and cervical cancers for women, alongside comprehensive general cancer screenings for men.

Key Highlights & Patient Analytics

High Impact Medical Turnout: 

A total of 690 citizens from Balanagar and surrounding areas successfully underwent professional cancer screenings during the single-day camp.

Gender Participation Breakdown:

Female Patients Screened: 480 women received specialized screenings (including breast and cervical cancer evaluations).

Male Patients Screened: 210 men underwent comprehensive general cancer check-ups.

Welfare Services (Patient Hospitality): 

To ensure a comfortable experience for the visiting patients—many of whom traveled from rural pockets—the foundation fully organized and provided complimentary nutritious mid-day meals (lunch) to all attending patients and community members.

Conclusion

The collaborative screening camp concluded successfully, achieving its target of high-volume early detection outreach within a single day. The technical expertise of the Basavatarakam Hospital staff combined with the field execution of the Fuelling Growth Foundation ensured smooth operations, providing critical health security to 690 individuals.
